Vtg 1964 Mechanical Santa Clause Gimbels Store Display Harold Gale??? The candy cane is broken, and there is a tear on the jacket in the back.
Some cracking in the face.... Plugged it in it works fine... Told with the round nose & cheeks this is a coke (coca cola) Santa, guess that's the style?
Bought a bunch of Christmas displays from Gimbels in Pgh back in the mid 80's they had a lot of vintage stuff stashed away...... Been digging some of it out.... Maybe you remember seeing this one?? Have a bunch of vintage Christmas stuff listed!!
Had someone tell me they believe that this could be a Harold Gale??? That person also let me know where to find the date of year made. On the back, inside of black belt. It has a tag that says 1964.
