Vtg 1950's Rosen Rosbro Easter Candy Container Lamb Pulling Cart W Duck 7.5

The E Rosen Company is a candy company in Rhode Island that started business in 1911. The Company expanded in the 1950's when Styrene (hard plastic) came out and became inexpensive to use.
Rosen bought, as wholly owned subsidiaries, Rosbro and Tico. The candy containers are highly desired by collectors because they are well made, and so so charming. The Styrene, when first made, was billed as "unbreakable", but over time the plastic becomes brittle, and many of these pieces are broken. I look REALLY hard to find pieces that aren't broken.
I must admit, sometimes it's a challenge. I don't want to sell broken pieces. Patina, which is the aged look things get over time is a different story - many of the items I sell will have patina. This piece is in excellent condition. The wheels are good, and roll like they should.
There is no soil; the plastic is shiny, and the paint is good. It is a nice size, and scarce, in this condition. This one is about 7.5 inches long.
