Vintage Antique c1920-40s Papier-Mâché Pulp Halloween Black Scaredy Cat Candy Container Lantern. It measures 5" tall and 6" wide. A fun but spooky scaredy cat for your Halloween decorating or collection. The container is overall in very good condition with only slight wear around the top opening and where the handle attaches.
On the top edge of the rear side there is a crack and some evidence of a possible old repair- please see photo of the area. The insert is original but there is a tear and some loss in the mouth area.
