Rare Vintage Nativity German Pyramid Carousel w Thorens Music Box Stille Nacht

Handcrafted in Germany this Vintage Nativity Christmas Wood Pyramid Carousel comes in the Original manufacturers box. The box is labeled Glockenspiel 81 / 18, Made in Germany and Thorens Movement, Stille Nacht, Made in Switserland. This beautiful handcrafted piece has the Carousel on a six sided hexagon. The carousel is 4 1/4 inches in diameter with the Nativity Scene.

Mary & Joseph stand about 1 1/2 inches tall, shepherds about 1 3/4 " tall and the Infant about 3/4 " long. The Thorens movement of Silent Night is within the hexagon.

The music box is key wind with a walnut activation push lever. The music box plays great. Overall the piece stand 10 1/2 " high and 8 1/2 " from candle holder to candle holder. The Pyramid Carousel is in excellent condition with no cracks or broken parts.

Photos show how nice the piece is. Having the Thorens Movement makes this German Carousel a very rare and unusual collectible piece.
