Mark Roberts Victorian Cat Anthropomorphic Statue Sir Puurcy Handmade Art Wood

  

This is a sculpture of a cat that stands 33 tall. The white fur feels real and is on the head, ankles and wrists. The head is hard and has real plastic looking eyes and nose. The feet and paws are wood and appear to be carved. He wears a velvet suit with intricate details and quality. The velvet purse is on metal chain and has a metal clasp. The watch is metal but is just a prop and non- working. It is bolted down on a painted wood stand. There are a few scrapes and chips (see pictures). To most they think it's cool and some creepy. I can tell you that the time that I had it, it didn't appear haunted or show up at different places at my house.

I would keep it but my dogs are not fond of it. Google said- it may be from Tilly Collectible. Most likely from late 1980's. I could not locate a tag or maker mark on it. The clothing can not be removed.
