Byers' Choice Caroler, Baboushka (340B)
Brand new, direct from Byers' Choice. Figure is approximately 13 tall. Hand crafted in the USA.
NOTE: Hair color, eye color, and clothing style or color may vary slightly. Baboushka is a traditional Russian Christmas figure who distributes presents to children. Legend is told that she declined to go with the Wise Men to see Jesus because of the cold weather. However, she regretted not going and set off to try and catch up, filling her basket with presents.
She never found Jesus, and that is why she visits each house, leaving toys for good children. No two Carolers are ever the same. Byers' Choice artisans create a unique character and personality in each figure by using a variety of techniques and materials.
Each crafter leaves a little bit of herself in every figure she touches. As many as ten people will work on one Caroler. Consequently, it is almost impossible to find two Carolers that are exactly alike.

Frustrated by the lack of modern design, they ventured away from the department store to bring a more contemporary style store to Indianapolis.
