For your consideration is this incredibly rare vintage or antique Bohemian art glass, red cut to clear, large and wide pitcher that stands 10" tall, the base is 4" across. It is 16" inches around at the widest part of the vase and it is 8" from the handle to the spout. It is 24% lead crystal. It holds 48 fluid ounces and it is in excellent condition with no chips or cracks, however there is one small blemish that is barely noticeable that appears to be a naturally occurring part of the hand blown production process. It was made in Hungary.
The original label is still attached. Bohemian glass, chiefly referred to as Bohemia crystal, is glass produced in the regions of Bohemia and Silesia, now parts of the Czech Republic and areas around it such as Hungary. It has a centuries-long history of being internationally recognized for its high quality, craftsmanship, beauty, and often innovative designs. Art glass was primarily made in and around the present-day Czech Republic during the Art Nouveau or Jugendstil era, the late 1800's and early 1900's.
