Bethany Lowe Halloween Witch On Moon TG9807 Retired
Bethany Lowe's (retired) Witch on Moon is a great addition to your Halloween display. Hand painted resin Witch and her Black Cat sit on a paper mache moon. The original broom held by the Witch (and not permanently attached) was misplaced. A non-Bethany Lowe broom has been substituted.
It fits just like the original, which is through the Witches' hands and the cats front paws. The broom is made of natural wood fibers.
There is a ring on top of the moon for hanging if desired. I have one of these items but do not hang it because the weight of the resin seems inappropriately heavy for the paper mache. In my display, I sit the Witch on Moon on an easel. The entire piece is dusted with glitter. The Moons' finish is distressed and has an antiqued, cracked look intended to simulate age. These variations could also be the result of time fading paint. Please look carefully at the photos as these are part of the description. The finish does not detract from the integrity of the piece and (in my opinion) enhances the vintage look.
