Antique German Krampus Devil Chenille Candy Container 1920s Vintage Box Stamped. An authentic, highly collectible Antique German Krampus / Devil miniature candy container, dating to the 1920s-1930s. This rare piece features a meticulously hand-painted composition head with gold-accented horns, a black collar, and a full posable body crafted from orange and black wire chenille. In his hand, he holds his original natural straw switch broom. The figure is permanently seated atop a round cardboard candy container box finished in an attractive faux-birch bark lithographed paper wrap. The bottom of the box retains its original scalloped paper seal and a clear, purple ink stamp reading "GERMANY". Excellent antique condition with wonderful preservation. The composition head is free of cracks or major paint loss. The chenille is firm with vibrant coloration and excellent fuzz density. The cardboard container opens and closes smoothly with no crushed edges or structural splits. A fantastic, completely original survivor for an advanced holiday collection.
