Airy Stottle #19 Brian Kidwell Flying Santa Inventor Industrial Art 2000 Signed

  

"Airy Stottle" #19 is a handmade sculpture created by Brian Kidwell also known as "The Toymaker" in 2000. The sculpture features the Flying Santa Inventor, in an industrial art style. Made from mixed materials including plastic and metal, this unique piece represents a whimsical and imaginative concept. It is a one-of-a-kind unit manufactured in the United States during the 2000s. Each one of these sculptures has their own name and number. The back wing is signed by the artist, but the signature has begun to fade. We picked him up a few years back and have enjoyed him hovering in our living room. We are moving and sadly, he will need a new home. He could be a Santa in everyday life, as he is an inventor. During Christmas we picked up one of those batter pack sets of Christmas lights on a timer and he was so cool. Everyone commented Airy Stottle and adored him. Brian Kidwell has had some of his work displayed at the Smithsonian Air and Space Museum. We obtained this when we called him to find out about the sculpture. Kidwell was kind and was so happy Airy Stottle had a new owner.

He measures about 33x28x28 and comes with the original card and name tag. One of the souls of his shoes has a screw that seems to have cracked the wood, it is not that noticeable and might be able to be fixed.
