VTG Scintillite Motion Lighted Christmas Display MCM Great For Aluminum Tree

  

In original box (shows some wear as seen in photos) marked'made for Advanced Imports NYC in Taiwan Republic of China'. Measures about 11 in diameter. I can find no information about either this light or the company, so I've included lots of pics. Works like a dream, and other than a slight (I'm guessing 1) crack near the center of the clear housing where the brass fitting twists off to replace any lights that may someday need replaced, I don't see any other damage. Given the faceted design of the clear housing you don't even notice it until it's turned off and you look closely. This is unique in that it can be used in many different ways other than just a tree topper. It has a sturdy metal easel type mounting on the back that allows you to place it on a tabletop or floor for your aluminum tinsel trees, or it can hang on a wall. Of course, you can just place it atop your favorite tree as well. And meant for a true collector! I've been collecting vintage Christmas for many years and I've not seen anything like it.
