Vintage Halloween Rosbro Hard Plastic JOL Sucker Holder 1950s
This wonderful JOL is ready for Halloween. He was made by Rosbro or Tico Toys in the United States, but he is not marked. He is a type of candy container - a sucker holder.
He is made from hard plastic that is more orange than red with the black detail. He has a hat and a bow tie and a cigarette or cigar hanging out of his carved mouth. The suckers would go into the loops towards the top of the back and the sticks would hold them in place with the tabs at the bottom. The wedges also hold the sucker sticks in place. This fun Halloween sucker holder is 4-1/2" tall x approximately 2-1/2" wide x approximately 1-1/2 deep. It is from the 1950s. This sucker holder was used through the years. There are a couple o scratches to the plastic and nicks to the paint. It does not have and chips or cracks.
