THE METAL POLE WHICH IS PAINTED WHITE HAS SCRATCHES, PROBABLY FROM HAVING BEEN ASSEMBLED - BUT YOU WON'T SEE THEM AS THE BRANCHES WHEN ASSEMBLED WILL HIDE THEM. Every other piece is, as far as I can see, in factory condition. This piece has come to me as it was sent from the factory. It is still packed as it left the factory and I really don't want to unpack and repack it again. Those packing guys are geniuses. It had a limited edition of 300 and the box is marked #273 out of 300 cartons. I believe it is from 2007. This Patience Brewster Caroler Promo Tree was not available to the public, apparently, only available to stores for promo of the krinkles ornaments. If you are a collector, what better than to have the tree on which the ornaments were displayed in stores. An online discount, it has to be processed at the post office. Or, if you live in the tri-state area and want to do a pick-up, it can be picked up in Ringwood NJ where it presently resides. Pix are not the best because the tree remains disassembled, but I took a pix of the tree on the assembly instructions. I also took a pix of the top branch, there are 4 branches and with star, the tree is about 54 inches tall and measures 20 to 21 inches across the largest branch (measurements are approximate and helped by information found on the internet regarding particulars of this item number from Patience Brewster). There are gold stars on the tip of each branch. Silver garland is wrapped around each branch, and the branches are adorned with what looks like sheet music for Christmas carols.

The base is painted gold and is wood. All the pieces are in the box, I did notice that there is some minor scratching of the white paint on the trunk of the tree, easy to touch up, but I noticed nothing else.

As I noticed that, I have taken into consideration there might be some other minor scratching which without unpacking, I cannot see, but I have taken that into consideration in the price.
