GORGEOUS, Rare and Hard to Find Blue Sky Clayworks "Queen of Hearts Hotel 2001" is signed by artist Heather Minc, with tag! This is a highly detailed and intricate hand painted piece with cut outs throughout so that your candle/tea light will illuminate the room! You could also turn this into a lamp as it has a cutout on the base for a cord (see photo #15). Every inch of this whimsical piece showcases eye catching details such as the Doorman in his red livery greeting the hotel guests, the Queen of Hearts atop the roof peeking out her heart shaped windows, the playing cards sides (3, 5, 7 and Ace of Hearts) and gold embellishments EVERYWHERE, even the tips of the trees! Notice the hanging crown (see photo #5) which is advertising Vacancy! It is quite rare that this little piece survived, as most of the other hotels online are missing either it or the plate. Please enlarge photos to truly appreciate the uniqueness of this piece. The hotel measures 14" in height, the roof measures 7 1/2" in width, and two sides each measure 4 1/4 x 5 1/4. " The plate that the hotel sits on measures 6 1/2" in width x 8 in height. It features two gold crowns and a red heart, which says Place the Royal T-lite here. This piece has lovely colors such as sky blue, red, white, green and gold. It still has the original tag identifying it as An Authentic Ceramic Art Collectible from Clayworks by Heather Goldminc.
