Vintage Paper Mache German Easter Rooster Candy Container
Super Vintage German Paper Mache Easter Rooster Candy Container. Rooster's metal feet are attached to circular piece of cardboard. Wonderful, bright colors - looks realistic.
Head removes to reveal secret compartment. Stamped'GERMANY' on circular cardboard base, circa 1920's.
Measures approximately 5.5" long x 5.25" tall x 2 wide. Candy compartment opening is approximately 0.75 wide at neck.
Wear consistent with age: some surface rubs, scuffs & chips; small chip to beak; base will not stand independently without head attached. Displays beautifully, nice addition to your Easter vignette. Please review photos as the pictures are a part of the description.
